The Ethiopian Government is planning investment promotion events in cooperation with the German Business Association for Africa on 11 May in Hamburg and with the Munich Chamber of Commerce on 12 May in Munich. In preparation of these events W/O Hirut Zemene, Director General for Business Diplomacy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, met representatives of 18 German businesses based in Addis Ababa at the German Embassy on Wednesday, 20 April. She briefed the representatives on the upcoming events and listened to their feedback on the current investment climate in Ethiopia.
