World University Service – German Committee r.a. (WUS)

WUS – founded in 1920 – is an international, political and non-confessional organization of students, teachers/professors and associates in the sector of education. WUS-Germany is one of 50 worldwide committees that advocates for the human right for education.
The range of its tasks comprises of developmental information and educational functions, lobbying to better the framework for international students in Germany, as well as possibilities of vocational orientation and reintegration into the respective home countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America.

On behalf of the 16 German federal states WUS maintains the portal "Deutsche Länder in der Entwicklungspolitik" (German federal states and development policies).
